We had nothing to do with being born.
But, to be born again we had a choice. After that, we have another choice. Will we do what we want to do, or will we do what a born again person is called to do?
Jesus made it possible for us to be forgiven all the wrong choices we have made and He asks us to accept the mission He has for us. His message is:  As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you. (John 20:21 TLB)
Jesus spent His life helping others know who God is and what He wants to do for us. Jesus invites us to follow His example and promises to live in and work through us.  Following the example of Christ . . . for Christ’s love for you was like sweet perfume to Him. (Eph. 5: 1, 2 TLB)
People who are not Christians have almost no understanding of who God is. They often refer to Him as someone who wants to curse people for everything they do or don’t do. People hear that over and over. Why? That’s the message Satan promotes.
Through Jesus, God has revealed that He loves us enough to give His only Son for us. Jesus demonstrated God’s love and what He wants His children to do while we are still here on earth. We

may not have to die for Him but we have a definite calling: to help others know that God wants people delivered from the terrible influence that Satan has over this world.
Jesus gave us our mission and what we should do if we want to live as He did; we should love God and demonstrate our love by giving God’s Good News to everyone in the world.
Each one of us can give our lives to help others understand why they should love God. We can use any means that are available to us. We will receive no eternal benefits for what we fail to do.
I urge you to be eternally blessed. Find ways to show people how much God loves them. They may think God should deliver them from every problem, but God assigned us the opportunity to tell men and women what He wants to do for them. To reward us while we are still here on earth, He offered to fill our hearts with His joy and peace!
Jesus told His disciples:  The harvest is so great, and the workers are so few. (Mt. 9:37)
Please tell God, right now, that you give your life to do whatever you can to continue the work that Jesus calls us to do.

It is required of stewards that they be found trustworthy (I Cor. 4:2). Not hoped that they be trustworthy, not desired that they be trustworthy, but required that they be trustworthy. When you read this verse, what does it cause you to think about? Because required is such a strong word, reading it makes me sit up and pay attention. I feel that, as a Christian, I have an obligation to be trustworthy and responsible.
As Christians, we are stewards of all that God has given us. Perhaps the word stewardship causes you to think of money. While it does include our finances, believe me, it means much, much more. Next month not only will we choose the President and Vice President, but also a number of Senators and Congressmen. This is a duty of every adult in our nation. We are the stewards of our Democracy. There is no way we can avoid the fact that we are accountable for whoever is elected. We may shirk our responsibility, we may not be found trustworthy,
but God will still hold us accountable. Some day we Christians will stand before Him and give an account of our stewardship as His children. To some He will say, well done. To others He will not.

In Luke 12, Jesus blessed the faithful steward for being trustworthy - in fulfilling his responsibilities.
It sure is tempting to want to tell you how to vote. But that would be wrong of me. Besides, if I tried to tell you how to vote, I'd be depriving you of the joy of being led by the Holy Spirit. Make the effort to know how the different candidates have voted on various issues. Do they honor God? Are they people of integrity? Do they obey God's Word? As stewards of the manifold graces of God, we are on the hook - we can't wiggle off. We are, by the grace of God, citizens of this free country. In the years to come, our children, grandchildren and their children will either bless or curse us for the condition their nation is in.
Both national parties agree that this election is critical in determining the direction our nation follows. Will our country follow God and His Word? It will depend on how we vote.

Please join us in wishing Mary

a blessed birthday this month.

Our loss is Heaven’s gain. Our prayers are with those who loved them.

Prison to Praise Changes Lives!

You don’t know how much I appreciate being able to purchase Prison to Praise at such a low price and the privilege of giving them to others.  Ruby, TX

Prison to Praise is a life changing reality. I have given out over 100 copies along with your tracts. Thank you for carrying out God’s plan for your life.  Robert, GA

I found Prison to Praise in a Laundromat and read it twice. I would love to have all your books. Rachel, NC

I just re-read Prison to Praise and got blessed as much as I do every other time I read it! Fran, GA

My daughter gave me Prison to Praise to read at the airport. I have come to realize the real purpose of my trip was for me to read that book. Your book gave me new energy and lifted my spirit. I am a Bible based counselor and have recommended Prison to Praise to my clients.  Gary, E-mail

Prison to Praise changed my life many years ago so I try to give away as many copies as I can. It is so wonderful to see people turned on to Jesus and to allow the Holy Spirit to work in their lives.
Judy, E-mail

I am in my 25th year of following the Praise life. I still have the first copy of Prison to Praise that I received from a friend. Mike, CA

I read Prison to Praise in the 70’s and have practiced it ever since. It changed my life.  Joy, MT

My mom wanted me to read Prison to Praise several years ago and I of course told her I would but from then on it sat on a shelf in my room. I just finished reading it and I thank God and you for the opportunity to learn about such great things. Please pray for me and my family.  Sara

How can I thank for you writing Prison to Praise. I just could not put it down. My 18 year old son is leaving for the Air Force and I told him that he has to read this book before he leaves. I am getting more copies and plan to sit down as a family and read a few chapters each night out loud so the impact of the book can be felt by all our family members. I woke up this morning praising the Lord. What a difference it has made in my life.  Marilyn, E-mail

While reading Prison to Praise my husband and I came to Christ and I have never been so happy. I have given all your books to family members and we read them again and again!
Betty, TX

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for letting God use you as a precious instrument of deliverance and encouragement. I read Prison to Praise which I got from my church and what a tremendous blessing it has been. I feel recharged and re-energized.
Cathering, E-mail
